Join us for a summer music series curated to highlight the artful styles and sounds of some of the most iconic jazz instruments. All performances are free and open to the public and provide a unique opportunity to enjoy world-class music in our intimate gallery setting.
Join us for the final installament of the series featuring Chris Spies on the Hammond Organ. Chris Spies has been traveling the world playing music since 2013 when he performed for the President and Vice President of South Africa with the legendary New Orleans Drummer Russell Batiste and the Batiste Family Band. Since then he has been a regular in the New Orleans music scene with The Honey Island Swamp Band and regularly performs at music festivals all over the world. Most recently he has just returned from 3 weeks in Spain and headlined the Telluride Blues Festival with His band The Lucky Strokes.
Spies will be accompanied by freelance drummer and recording artist John Milham of Laurel.
