The Power of Photography exhibition will feature a selection of 120 iconic images from 120 different photographers that celebrate the photograph’s unique capacity for sensibility. The exhibition was curated by pioneering collector and gallerist Peter Fetterman, who runs one of the leading fine art photography galleries in the world with a special emphasis on humanist photography. Works in the exhibition include The Afghan girl, Sharbat Gula, Pakistan by Steve McCurry, as well as other portraits of Muhammad Ali, Audrey Hepburn, and Maya Angelou, to name a few. Other works show still lives and streetscapes by artists such as Minor White and Henri Cartier-Bresson. The exhibition was organized by Photographic Traveling Exhibitions, Los Angeles, CA.
