Art Trunks

The Museum's Art Trunks program is an innovative project making art units available to schools and youth organizations across the state of Mississippi. The self-contained trunks, which relate to the Museum's permanent collections, are available for use by Mississippi teachers free of charge. Each trunk contains a teacher's manual and art materials for up to 30 students. Trunks are available on color-mixing, print-making, basket-weaving, Mississippi artists, African-American Heritage,  and trunks that relate to the Museum's current exhibition.

For further information or to request an Art Trunk, contact Mandy Buchanan, Curator of Education, or Angie King, Outreach Education Coordinator at mbuchanan@LRMA.org or aking@LRMA.org or call 601-649-6374.
