Framing the Future Capital Campaign - To meet the challenges of the 21st century, LRMA has embarked on a visionary course. The $5 million Framing the Future campaign will upgrade LRMA facilities and enhance the museum's collections, exhibitions, and education programs. New gallery space, a new collections storage area, and improved facilities for receiving and unpacking temporary exhibitions will address critical needs and position LRMA for a future of excellence. Membership – LRMA members provide support for all aspects of Museum life, from exhibitions to collections to education programs that introduce thousands of children to the visual arts each year. Membership levels range from $15 for students to $5,000 for members at the Eastman level. To join LRMA now, click on our Membership Brochure.
Corporate Sponsorships – Businesses throughout Mississippi and the nation support LRMA by sponsoring exhibitions, programs and activities. Sponsorships range from $500 for festivals and performances to $10,000 for major exhibitions, and benefits include recognition in various types of media. Special Events – A black-tie December gala and a casual summer Blues Bash are two events that raise funds for LRMA programs and operations. These events offer sponsorship opportunities , and the annual gala features a Live and Silent Auction. LRMA supporters provide funds to purchase unique items for the Live Auction and donate decorative objects, trips, dinners and artwork for the Silent Auction. Tribute Gifts – Honor or memorialize a friend or family member with a special gift of any amount to LRMA. We will send a card informing your friend or family of your gift.
Legacy Gifts – The Lauren Eastman Rogers Society recognizes individuals who have made a provision for LRMA in their will or estate plan. These gifts will allow LRMA to meet the challenges of the future and continue to operate a world-class museum for generations to come. Gifts of Artwork - Gifts of significant artworks allow LRMA to increase its permanent collection. If you are interested in donating a work to the Museum, please contact LRMA Director George Bassi or Curator Jill Chancey, 601-649-6374, gbassi@LRMA.org or jchancey@LRMA.org.
Transformational Gifts – Gifts of $100,000 or more can have a major impact on LRMA collections, exhibitions and education programs. Good stewardship of gifts is a hallmark of LRMA, and gifts to the Museum’s endowment are carefully managed for steady growth with normal budgeting of 4 percent of the corpus.
